"What is Science?"--One Question with Infinite Answers

http://vernacularbody.typepad.com/

When the word science is uttered, the typical image that comes to one’s mind is a man with gray, wild hair, wearing a long white lab coat, with a maniacal look in his eyes holding a tube with a bubbling green liquid. But what is science really? How can it possibly be defined?

To explain what science is one must in turn explain what science is not.…

i agree. i do control that feature.
however, i have a reason for wanting the site to look a bit more uniform for the time being. since i want the college folks to get a look at what we are doing... and how we are doing this... i am waiting for a little bit to open the profiles up a bit.

i like customization as well.
so- it will happen, i am just wanting things to be very clean and easy to navigate for the time being. (like it is all clearly one site)
make sense?
;-)

Virtual Classroom

Our work has certainly come a long way this year. In our short time working in this space (since only September 2009) we have attracted quite a bit of attention for our open approach to learning.  Your sharing, reflection and synthesis have earned two nominations for Edublogs awards in as many years.  Impressive is a good word.In the thread below, please reflect upon our use of free, open online tools to enhance our classroom this year. I'm always proud of how your work ends up being all about…See More
