Today after practice when we were getting ready to get a beak down coach said something that brought me straight to our whole topic of carbs and fats and proteins. he was talking about how he has been where we are, having to cut the weight and keeping it in close range. the thing he said was "There is a difference in how much you wanna eat, just cuz its there and what you need or should eat" a few examples of his were say your at a pizza hut when your friends are skarfing on some pizza and your eatin some lettece and ranch. WHICH is NOT bad at all...

Im no super genus but there are a few pro's and con's to this 'theory' of eating a salad and only a salad. 1st the thing as a wrestler stands out to me is the protein!!! i try to be as strong as possible (cleanly) and i dont like the % of daily value deal...is that truely accurate for most people? It can sometime freak somebody out, if some one is trying to eat healthy they might eat a whole lot od there value at once then let there stomach growl the rest of the day...again "i want", "i need"...

slim fast aye?
wow, one of the first things you see is most likely the CALORIES oh no...190 of them inside of a single can, now to some its not so bad and to others they say oh its slim fast its supposed to be good for me, "glug glug glug". However where do those calories come from hmmm...whoa 54 of them are just from fat alone, saturated, unsaturated, monosaturated, and polysaturated.. but wait that might sound scary but its only some odd percent of your "
DAILY VALUE" wow there are alot of and's, or's, but's, what if's, and hmm's. at least when it comes to what goes into your body.
Now, carbohydrates!!! as a wrestler and cross country runner i love carbs. varying on what they come out of...a delicous bowl of spaghetti mm but not snickers or fatty potatoe chips...i always heard unused carbs turn into fats.. before however i got a queston. why do SO SO SO many people assume that if you eat a reecees cup that your belly will bulge two more centimeters outwards!! that's non-sense!! The enzymes in your body will begin breaking them down right when it touches your tongue! all the way through your poop shoot. right???
